Gustavo has more than 30 years of experience in real estate, hospitality, and building/managing important businesses.

Gustavo was a Partner at Arthur Andersen Consulting, leading the Real Estate and Hospitality Management Consulting Practice. The Practice focused on the South Florida, Caribbean and Latin American markets. Completed the Firms "Executive Partner Program" at The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.

Engagements included valuation, hotel market value determination, investment value estimates, development and project management selection, feasibility studies on development, management project analysis and negotiations advice, operator selection and management company search, company restructuring and franchise evaluation and operator selection process for fortune 500 companies, real estate investors, hotel developers, owners and international investment firms.

Advised hundreds of companies regarding corporate organizational issues, optimal real estate planning strategy, operational improvement, real estate asset and strategic deal structuring.

Completed over US$2 billion of debt/equity transactions with many of the industry’s leading private and institutional investors.

Extensive experience in all facets of complex financial transactions and real estate workouts.

Responsible for hundreds of Hospitality deal structuring schemes and operator contract negotiations strategies.
